Community Guidelines
Last updated: 17 May 2026
did:pic is built to be a friendly photo-sharing community on AT Protocol. These guidelines describe what's allowed, what's not, and how we moderate.
Be kind, be honest
- Treat others with respect. Disagree without being cruel.
- Don't claim to be someone you're not. Don't run accounts that mislead about who's behind them.
- Don't post or share other people's private information without consent.
What we do not allow
- Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children. Zero tolerance. Reported to NCMEC and law enforcement where required.
- Illegal content under Australian law, or under the law of the country you're posting from.
- Direct threats of violence, or content that incites violence against a person or group.
- Hate or harassment targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Doxxing — posting someone's private contact info, address, or identifying details without consent.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Spam, automated posting, bots, or platform manipulation.
- Impersonation of public figures, brands, or other users.
- Misinformation about public health emergencies, elections, or other matters where false information causes real-world harm.
Labels
did:pic uses content labels to keep the experience comfortable for everyone:
- NSFW — adult or sexually explicit content. You can self-apply this when posting. Other users can choose to hide, blur, or show NSFW content via the moderation settings. Those settings are gated behind age verification (18+).
- Moderators may apply labels to accounts or posts that don't self-label appropriately, or that violate other guidelines.
How we moderate
- We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines.
- We may apply labels to make content easier to filter without removing it.
- Sanctions range from a quiet content removal to a permanent ban for severe or repeated violations.
Reporting and appeals
If you see content that violates these guidelines, email [email protected] with a link to the content. We aim to review reports within a few business days.
If we've actioned your account and you think we got it wrong, reply to the action notice or email [email protected]. We'll re-review.
